PROFILE

Surrounded by music from an early age, Yuri Nagahori developed a passion for dance, piano, and drums. During her teenage years, she studied street dance in the United States, later immersing herself in the vibrant club and street dance scenes of the Philippines and Canada. Returning to Japan in her early 20s, she began her journey as a DJ, quickly establishing herself as a force in the music scene.

With a solid foundation in hip-hop and house dance, Yuri’s performances are defined by a unique sense of groove and an electrifying, high-energy play style. Recently, she has focused on techno, both as a performer and as a producer, gaining recognition for her dynamic and innovative approach. In 2023, she provided original techno tracks for the Milan Fashion Week, and in 2024, she is set to release an EP under LETS TECHNO Records.

Operating under the name Yuri Nagahori, she also explores genres like hip-hop, house, and disco, blending them with her distinctive musical touch. Her versatile style and refined sensibilities continue to captivate audiences across a broad spectrum of musical tastes.

幼少期から音楽に囲まれて育ち、ダンス、ピアノ、ドラムを始める。
10代の頃にアメリカでストリートダンスを学び、その後フィリピンやカナダでクラブ文化やストリートダンスに没頭。20代前半には母国日本に戻り、DJとしての活動を開始する。

ヒップホップやハウスダンスの経験から培われたグルーブ感と、スピーディーで疾走感のあるプレイスタイルを得意とする。

近年は主にテクノをプレイし、プロデューサーとしても積極的に活動中。
2023年にはミラノコレクションでテクノ楽曲を提供するなど、国内外で注目を集めている。
2024年にはLETS TECHNO recordsからEPをリリース。

また、Yuri Nagahori名義ではヒップホップ、ハウス、ディスコといったブラックミュージックを中心に活動し、幅広いジャンルで独自の音楽性を発揮している
